When choosing the class to play in the menu, players can see where the next planned classes will end up in future updates.
Skeldian Windguard Class
The Skeldian Windguard class is all about support during the dragon-riding action of Century: Age of Ashes. With a shield, healing spell, and an aura the reduces other players’ cooldowns, these knight-protectors are all about making sure the other types of dragon warriors keep battling effciently. The dragons that the Windguards choose to ride are Ironwings, a class of dragon focused on speed. This class allows players to release poison clouds behind their dragons to blind enemies and help bring then down with a blast.
Naerdor Phantom Class
In the indie game Cenutry: Age of Ashes, the Naerdor Phantom class is the stealth class. Their dragons, the Nightsnaggers, allow them to cloak themselves for a brief time. These dragons also have a fireball and mine attacks. The dragons exclusive to this class are spikier in design than the others.
Svard Marauder Class
The Svard Marauder are the tankiest of the three classes. These heavy-hitters fly massive dragons called the Bloodchasers; these hunters have an attack that can track the enemy, making it much harder to dogde those heavy hitting attacks. The Marauders are known for being excellent poachers and bounty hunters in the world of Century: Age of Ashes.
Which Class is the Best in Century: Age of Ashes
While the Skeldian Windguard and the Naerdor Phantom classes are considered superior to the Svard Marauder class, players should choose the class that suits their play style. Battles are balanced around having a variety of the classes on each team, so players should also choose whatever class their teammates are not playing as well. The consensus on Reddit, however, seems to be that anyone playing Century should choose the class that has the coolest looking of all of the collectible dragon skins.
Century: Age of Ashes is available for PC with console versions expected in early 2022.
