How to Get Eggs in Century: Age of Ashes

There are several different ways to get new dragon eggs in Century: Age of Ashes. Eggs come as rewards for levels in the Battle Pass, players’ levels, and through weekly chests. Players can also purchase eggs and skins with gems or by buying Founder’s Packs. But once players have possession of one of these eggs, they will need to hatch it before they can use the new dragon. This is done through the class menu.

How to Hatch a Dragon Egg

In the Class menu, players have two options: Customization and Hatching. In the Hatching menu, players can see how much XP an egg needs to hatch. Once the meter is filled up, players just need to hit the Hatch button in the bottom right corner. Each dragon egg will contain a dragon that is tagged for a specific class, so eggs will be assigned to one of each of the three class screens. There are a total of three classes in Century: Age of Ashes currently with more coming with new patches later on.

Century: Age of Ashes Eggs

In this online multiplayer game, dragons and eggs come in several levels as well: there are common, rare, epic, and legendary dragons for players to collect. Each is hatched in the same way but requires different amounts of XP to be ready to hatch. There are a total of 100 different types of eggs in Century, and more legendary dragon skins will be added with the Frost and Fury event coming December 16th to January 2nd. Most likely these legendaries will go away by the end of the event, so players should grab them while they are available in the game.

There are currently some bugs in this early access game for PC that are messing up the dragons gotten from these eggs. For example, some players who get the Epic Egg from level 30 are not getting an epic dragon from the hatch. Hopefully, this will be fixed soon before the Frost and Fury event starts so that players can be confident in the eggs they are hatching.

Century: Age of Ashes is available for PC with console versions expected in early 2022.
